Synthetic rubber obtained through the polymerization of 1,3-Butadiene, also known as Nitrile, is excellent for applications of derivatives of oil and water . Its color is black and it may have a red dot. It does not resist high temperatures.

It is a polymer, also called polyacetal, acetal or polyformaldehyde, it is a crystalline thermoplastic that works at high pressure and low temperature . Excellent dimensional stability. Abrasion high resistance. It has high mechanical resistance, rigidity, and hardness. Its color is crystalline white although it can be colored. This material should not be used in oxygen service, or under UV rays, or alkali acids.

DEVLON® SEATS

This thermoplastic is among the strongest and most abrasion resistant of all seat materials. Inherently stress-free with excellent properties, with greater resistance to pressure and temperature than most soft seats, low friction and improved shock tolerance. It is yellow or green in color.

It is a low-density synthetic rubber with good resistance to abrasion and high resistance to alcohols, acids and mild alkalis. Our WRAS certified EDPM can be used in drinking water as it does not release microparticles. Not recommended for strong acids, oils or petroleum . It should not be used in compressed air lines.

It is a polymer that offers an optimal combination of mechanical resistance, wear resistance, rigidity and toughness . It is characterized by having a very good resistance to fatigue and good dielectric properties. Polyamides, in addition to high hardness and toughness, also have a high resistance to thermal deformation (resistance to temperatures of -40º C +100 ºC).

It is a polymer with a very good ability to work at high pressure and temperature , which leads it to be used in applications previously reserved only for metals, since it behaves excellently under conditions of dynamic loading . It has excellent resistance to abrasion, radiation and is chemically resistant to most fluids except sulfuric and highly oxidizing acids.

RPTFE SEATS

RPTFE is a polymer similar to polyethylene, in which hydrogen atoms have been replaced by fluorine atoms . The chemical formula of the monomer, tetrafluoroethene, is CF2 = CF2. Among them are the PFA (perfluoroalkoxide) resin and the FEP (Flurinated Ethylene Propylene) copolymer, called PFA and FEP respectively. Both PFA and FEP share the characteristic properties of PTFE, offering greater ease of handling in their industrial application.

It is the best elastomer for high temperature applications, but not in steam, it does not spread the flame and is self-extinguishing. It is the synthetic rubber more resistant to hydrocarbons both aliphatic aromatic and chlorinated.
