Description
TEMPERED GLASS SIGHT GLASS WITH DIN/ANSI FLANGES – KTN 721
The KTN 721 sight glass allows engineers and plant managers to look inside the piping system without interrupting the flow. Thanks to this feature they can observe critical changes in pressures or chemicals. Sight glasses have become very valuable in many industries, including steam, pipeline, chemical processing, pharmaceutical processing, and food processing.
With a simple but effective API594 design, KTN 721 can be installed on the pipeline vertically or horizontally. Through its tempered glass we can observe media up to 100ºC degrees. Upon special request, the sight glass can be made of borosilicate glass, quartz or aluminum glass. A flow indicator is available as an option to help view clear media.
The body and bonnets are made of high quality cast CF8M stainless steel. Our sight glass has two PTFE gaskets between the glass to achieve total tightness and increase corrosion resistance between the bonnet and the body.
Pressure range according to PN16. Range from DN15 to 100. See our KTN711 for threaded sight glass option.
