Description

DISC SHUT-OFF VALVE WITH DIN FLANGES – KTN 323

The KTN 323 is our gate valve with DIN flanges, PN 16 / 40. The body is made of cast carbon steel A216 WCB. The size range goes from DN 40 to 300, and the pressure and temperature ratings comply with ASME B16.34. It is suitable for starting and stopping the flow of aqueous media, oil, and gas.

The KTN 323 gate valve is manufactured using state-of-the-art technology in our most advanced workshop. The quality meets the highest industry standards. The final surface finish is smooth and precisely machined thanks to CNC turning.

Our design exceeds standard performance, offering excellent wear resistance. It is engineered for severe operating conditions and complies with API600 destruction tests. For greater strength and safety, both the flanges and back seat ring have been machined with increased thickness.

Design

Developed with advanced casting software to optimize manufacturing process parameters. This software greatly minimizes the probability of casting defects such as shrinkage, porosity, and cracking.

Body and bonnet

Manufacturing includes pouring onto elevators to reduce internal defects in castings and heat treating castings to improve the mechanical properties of materials, such as eliminating residual stress and improving the machinability of the metal. Our manufacturing process is fully compliant with API standards, with average thickness exceeding the standard by 10%.

Upper seat bushing, gland, and shaft nut

To ensure perfect stem isolation, the stem nut is made of bronze or standard D2. Bronze or D2 nuts are highly resistant to wear and corrosion. The packing is reinforced by the gland and upper seat bushing, both made of stainless steel, which comply with the API600 standard and offer superior sealing performance.

Packing and gasket

Heat-resistant corrugated graphite gasket for rapid adaptability to dramatic temperature changes. Composite gasket offering lower torque and better sealing performance.

Offspring

Strong and rigid stainless steel rod that complies with the API600 standard, making it virtually indestructible.

Disc

Fully open and closed disc, making it ideal for improving flow performance and reducing fluid resistance. Made of CA15+13Cr (size 2“-4”) or WCB+13Cr (over 5″) to meet API600 destruction test requirements. Its angular design offers improved sealing capability.

Rear seat

Renewable seats according to API600 standard, zero leaks after 2000 opening and closing service operations.
