Description
EPDM SEAT WAFER BUTTERFLY VALVE – KTN 266IE
The KTN 266IE is our butterfly valve with wafer type connection and epdm seat. The range includes from DN 40 to DN 300, replacing the sleeve with a reducing handwheel from DN 250, indicated to conduct practically any medium, specifically and under special request our butterfly valve can transport drinking water for human consumption and with certification WRAS. Its pressure range: PN16. The working temperature range covers -20ºC to +120ºC.

Resilient seat design
The design of the seat reduces the torque of the seat and, at the same time, reduces the wear of the parts in contact. Curvatures in the machining of the inner area of the seat minimize contact forces between the disc and the seat when the disc approaches, or opens from, the closed position. This unique seat geometry allows for lower torques and reduces seat wear.
Seat energizer
A heavy-duty seat energizer extends completely around the seat, including the disc hub. This provides a sufficient uniform force
for a bubble-tight seal.
Top/Bottom Packing
The valve has upper and lower packing made of FRP plastic fiber for symmetrical tightness, the upper packing is reinforced by a ring to absorb the torsion of the handle or actuator.

The stem is made in two pieces and is mechanically retained in the neck of the body and no part of the stem is exposed to the

One-piece wafer structure
The body is a one-piece wafer style and is epoxy coated. All bodies meet full ASME Class 150 and DIN 3840 pressure ratings for hydrostatic requirements.
