Description
BALL VALVE WITH ANTI-BLOWOUT STEM AND RESILIENT SEAT – KTN 1312
The 2-piece flanged ANSI KTN 1312 ball valve is an economical and quality product, in accordance with strict European regulations. Its design allows the fluid to be opened or closed by means of the sphere when making a 45º turn with the sleeve. The body and ball are made entirely of cast stainless steel CF8M, a material that gives it great resistance in most industrial applications.
It has PTFE seats that increase resistance to wear and ensure total tightness, avoiding leaks that could harm operators or the environment. In addition, its resilient elastic structure considerably reduces the torque of the valve.
The KTN 1312 valve allows operation with media whose temperatures range between -20ºC / 180ºC and Class 150/300 type pressures. This product can be complemented with an automation kit.
We have stock of this product for immediate shipment measures between 1/2″ – 8″. We offer larger sizes, additional manufacturing adjustments and special materials upon request.

Resilient seat design

Multiple stem sealing
The lower gasket, the intermediate O-ring and the multi-seal packing effectively ensure the total tightness of the stem
Anti-blowout stem
The lower part of the stem is provided with a raised shaft. Even if the nut is removed, the stem will not come out of the body, ensuring the safety of the body
FIRESAFE structure
When a fire breaks out in the surrounding area, the valve seat burns and the ball recedes under the valve. The ball is pushed back by the force of the fluid and contacts the flame retardant lip of the body to help seal and reduce media leakage
