Description

CHECK VALVE STAINLESS STEEL BODY CLASS 150/300/600- KTN 531

The KTN 531 is our class 150/300 globe valve (higher class on special order) with ANSI flanges. The body is made of CF8M+STL stainless steel casting. The range of dimensions is from 1 1/2” to 8” (larger measurements on request). Pressure and temperature range is per ASME B16.34.

Indicated for driving and stopping the passage of aqueous media, oil and gas. The KTN 531 check valve is manufactured with cutting-edge technology in our most advanced workshop, the quality meets the highest standards.

The final surface of the product is smooth and well machined thanks to CNC turning. Our design is far superior to the standard, offering unbeatable wear records; this product meets API598 destruction testing; The thickness of the flange and the coating on the rear holes ensure safety under severe application conditions.

Body and bonnet

Body and bonnet constructed of high-quality, durable materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel or ductile iron, ensuring longevity and corrosion resistance. The seamless integration of the seats into the valve body provides a tight seal that prevents leaks without the need for separate seat rings, reducing the risk of misalignment or damage. The interior design of the valve body is optimized to deliver a smooth flow path, minimizing pressure drop and turbulence for efficient operation. Additionally, the reinforced body construction allows it to withstand high pressures and temperatures, ensuring reliable performance in demanding industrial applications.

Valve lever

The valve lever is connected to the shaft by a bearing to improve material compatibility and wear resistance.

Swing

The disk flap includes a pin to improve mobility around the valve seat, allowing for better sealing and more efficient flow control. The pin helps the disk flap move freely and adjust its position as needed to ensure a tight seal against the valve seat. This mobility is crucial for preventing backflow and leaks, as well as maintaining the overall performance and reliability of the check valve.

Pivot support

A pivot support serves as the pivot point for the swing disk. This support allows the disk to swing freely in response to the fluid flow, opening to allow flow in one direction and closing to prevent backflow in the opposite direction. The pivot support is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the swing check valve, as it enables the disk to move easily and effectively, providing reliable flow control and preventing reverse flow in the system.

Top hook

The top hook helps keep the hood in place and provides additional support to keep valve components aligned and stable.

Graphite gasket

Corrugated graphite gasket resistant to heat for quick adaptability between the body and the hood, made to withstand dramatic temperature changes.
