BUTTERFLY VALVE FOR HIGHLY DEMANDING APPLICATIONS – KTN V TYPE

The KTN V TYPE is our most advanced butterfly valve design, with bi-directional soft seat bubble-tight or metal-to-metal  IV or V leakage class. The connection can be wafer, lug or double flanged type, in DIN, ANSI or JIS standard. With API6107 Firesafe design and a characteristic retainer floating seat, a boltless design to eliminate cold flow. This design provides a positive seat seal. The range includes from DN 50 to DN 1200. Its pressure range: PN10/16. ANSI150/300. JIS10K/16K. A The working temperature range covers -29ºC to +600ºC.

Features

BUTTERFLY VALVE FOR HIGHLY DEMANDING APPLICATIONS – KTN V TYPE

1. Cable gland flange

A fully adjustable two-piece gland flange to ensure uniform packing load through 360°.

2. Anti-blowout stem

Protection stem against bursts caused by pressure.

3. Packing

PTFE packing according to API 598.

4. Seat

Two-way zero-leakage design. Material: MPTFE, RTFE or UHMWPE.

5. Pin

Tangential position half on the disc and half on the stem to eliminate the possibility of failure.

6. Thrust/wear ring
AISI316 stainless steel ring located at the bottom of the stem to prevent incorrect displacement.
7. Stem
A strong and rigid one-piece stem design that greatly increases overall strength. Rod size and corresponding components comply with ISO5211. Stem material and disc position are marked on top of stem.
8. Disc
Made of chrome hardened stainless steel. An aerodynamic design with greatly improved noise and turbulence reduction.
9. Body
Complies with API 609 and ASME B16.34. To make the valve context intuitive and easy, an additional nameplate has been designed to mark detailed information.
10. Patented retainer disc
A boltless floating design to eliminate cold flow. This design provides a tight seal of the seat. The surface roughness is class 125-200AARH.
