PNEUMATIC SCOTTISH YOKE ACTUATOR – SINGLE/DOUBLE ACTING
Our quarter-turn pneumatic actuator is available in explosion-proof versions and in rack and pinion and Scottish yoke models, with torques ranging from 8NM to 1200NM. It offers high efficiency, durability, ease of installation and maintenance, and the ability to operate in extreme conditions. Ideal for industrial applications such as valve control, process automation, and material handling. Operating pressure of 3~8 bar,recommended pressure 4~6 bar, and design pressure of 10 bar. Includes a four-piece plastic injection indicator that prevents paint discoloration from sunlight. Uses images and diagrams to illustrate the actuator and its components, and testimonials from satisfied customers to demonstrate its effectiveness.

Body
The hard anodized body, with a thicker film than competitors, offers superior resistance to corrosion and scratches, while internal roughness is minimized using diamond tools to reduce sealing friction; Teflon-coated metal bushings at the top and bottom provide excellent wear resistance and stability across temperature changes, unlike some competitors who use plastic bushings; the special grease for pneumatic actuators has high extreme pressure properties and does not scatter or volatilize, and various coating options include epoxy (powder/liquid), polyester, urethane, Teflon, and electroless nickel.
Piston
The cast piston minimizes metal-to-metal contact with a guide ring and pad, and tightly controls tolerances to prevent leaks caused by O-ring wear.
The snap rings on both sides of the piston pin prevent the pin from coming out.
Stem
Due to the polished friction surface of the shaft, the grinding stem experiences extremely low wear, resulting in a long lifespan, while machining surface tolerances are managed with a dedicated jig.
End cap
The cast aluminum end cap undergoes a powder coating surface treatment, providing long-lasting color, resistance to discoloration, and consistent thickness. Additionally, the 4-axis screw is stabilized corrosion resistance. Additionally, the 4-axis screw is stabilized by simultaneously tightening four bolts using an electric driver and servo motor, ensuring no distortion of the sealing.
Spring
The powder-coated spring is resistant to corrosion and has a long service life. (Powder coating is limited to SCOTCK YOKE only.) For AS50-AS100, three types of springs (W, M, S) are available, while for AS125-AS300, six types (W, WM, WS, M, MS, S) are available, allowing for selection based on the site’s pressure, ensuring competitive pricing.
Stopper
The stopper bolt, located on the opposite side of the air port, avoids interference from solenoid valves, regulators, etc., making it convenient to use. The angle adjustment range is as follows: STD 90˚-5˚+10˚ (both open and close), Center stopper 90˚-5˚+45˚ (both open and close), and End cap stopper 90˚-5˚+90˚.
